Cake Decorating Classes

How long are your classes?

It depends on the class but for the most part they run 2-3 hours.

Are your classes “beginner friendly”?

Yes! Unless labeled “102/Advanced Class” our classes are beginner friendly and meant to just be a fun experience for you.

Is there a minimum number of students required for each class?

There is a 6 student minimum for the class to be held. You will be contacted ahead of time if the class does not make the minimum.

Could my class get cancelled?

Low turnout may result in cancellation of the event. In the event of cancellation due to low turnout, you may have your ticket refunded or moved toward a future event. Guests will be notified in advance if a class is cancelled.

Can I bring my kid? They’re really well behaved and mature for their age!

Our “Making Cake w/ Mom & Decorating w/ Dad” are for parents and their children. If your child does not meet the age requirement for the other classes but you feel they can handle it, you are more than welcome to purchase a ticket for them (this excludes the “Cake & Sip Class and Decorating & Wine Tasting”). All children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult.

Can I bring a friend or family member?

No extra guests are allowed at an event. Each attendee should have a confirmation email to participate in the class. We want to ensure that each guest has the space required to decorate and receive instruction.

Can you do vegan/gluten free/allergen friendly?

As of right now, no. But we are working on a gluten free option.
As a disclaimer our baked goods are not made in an allergy-free kitchen. All items are prepared with equipment that may have processed or had contact with, but not limited to peanuts, tree nuts, wheat, chocolate, eggs and dairy products. Therefore we cannot guarantee that there will be zero cross contamination.

Do you have private classes for birthday parties or bachelorette parties?

Yes! We love private parties! You choose the theme of your cake design and we’ll do the rest! We have an 8 person minimum. Click here to fill out the party inquiry form to get an estimate for your private party.

Are men allowed to come?

Yes of course! Surprisingly men have a lot of fun at our classes and sometimes will do better than their partners!

A specific class I want to take is sold out! Do you have a waitlist?

We do have a waitlist available. If the class you want to take is fully booked and you would like to be added to our wait list, please give us a call 770-296-8945.  All classes are first come first served basis, and the waitlist is based on any cancellations.

If I cannot make the class I signed up for, can I get a refund or take a different class in its place?

Unfortunately, we do not offer refunds for classes, if you are unable to attend the class you registered for, send someone to take your place. Transfers are only allowed when we are given 48 hours’ notice of your absence. There are no refunds for classes.

Can I bring in food?

We ask that you do not bring in outside food to any of our classes. Outside food is allowed only for private parties.

Can I bring in alcohol?

You are allowed to BYOB for the Cake & Sip classes only. Bring your preferred drink of choice. You must be 21 years of age or older to consume alcohol at Rday Creations classes.

How early can I arrive to my class?

We ask that you arrive 15 minutes prior to your scheduled event, no sooner. We want to make sure the event space is fully ready before you enter. We extend a 10 minute grace period for each event. We ask that you arrive 15 minutes early to get comfortable and set up your space. If you are 15 minutes or more late to the event, we cannot guarantee that you will catch up to the others attending the class. We cannot guarantee one-on-one help at a public class.

Will my project come exactly as the cake/cookie in the photo on the listing?

Some images are for inspiration only. Actual results depend on individual skill and personal preference.

How old does my child have to be to attend the kids camp?

We suggest that your child be at least 6-12 years old to attend the kids’ camps.

Do I have to pay a deposit?

For private events, your deposit is 30% of the total and is due upon booking. The remaining balance for your event is due 7 days before the scheduled date.
You do have the option of transferring your deposit to another date for a $25 fee.

Is there a Waiver?

Yes. All classes require the signing of the waiver and release form here. You may fill it out in advance or at the event.
For private events, upon payment of the final invoice, you acknowledge and agree to the contents of the waiver and release form.

Refund Policy

Rday Cake Creations allows the following related to refunds and ticket transfers:

  • Tickets for public events cannot be refunded.
  • We can transfer your ticket to another date if requested at least 48 hours before your scheduled event, pending availability.
  • You can send someone in your place.
  • Transfer tickets must be used for an event within 30 days of the original event date, pending availability.
  • Rday Cake Creations reserves the right to cancel an event due to low attendance or other unforeseen circumstances. You will be notified and a refund will be issued. We strive hard to prepare adequate supplies in advance based on the number of participants to guarantee a fun, creative experience

Cake Decorating Parties

Can I bring in food for my party?

Yes, outside food and drinks are welcome. If you are bringing food, please also be sure to bring plates, cups, napkins, forks, etc.

Do I need to bring themed party decorations?

Private Parties are welcome to bring decoration to match the party/event theme. Tablecloths and balloons are popular decoration. We do not allow anything to be pinned or stapled to our walls, and any damage done to the room/equipment will be charged to the contracted party.

Are supplies included in my party package?

Yes, all of the supplies (frosting, tools etc.) to complete your decoration project will be included in your party package.

What decorating options are available for party packages?

We offer the following decorating packages to select from: 6” Cake, or Cupcakes (each guest will decorate 6 cupcakes).

Am I responsible for cleaning up after my party is over?

We ask that you clean up any leftover food, drinks & trash. We will handle any trash/clean up from the decorating.

When do I need to turn in the final count of attendees for my party?

The final headcount is due 7 days prior to your event.

Can I add additional people to my head count after I have submitted the final head count?

Once the final headcount is received, additional attendees are not allowed to be added 7 days before the party date.

How long do the parties last?

Your party will be allotted 3 hours total time, you will be given 15 minutes before for setup and after for clean-up.

Can I purchase additional time?

Additional time and space may be purchased, based upon room availability. Additional hours are available upon request at a charge of $95 for every additional hour.

How much is the deposit to book a party?

Your deposit is 30% of the total and is due upon booking. The remaining balance for your event is due 7 days before the scheduled date. This is a non-refundable deposit that will be credited towards your final balance.
You do have the option of transferring your deposit to another date for a $25 fee.

Can I customize my party?

Yes, you can customize your party to whatever you want to decorate, you will work with our Classroom Instructor, and they will give you pricing based on your idea.
